1. Who you are contracting with
The seller is RivoLift, a sole proprietorship registered in California, United States, with its business address at 3770 N Claremont Ave, Fresno, CA, United States. You can reach us at contact@rivolift.com or +1 (650) 446-4547. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean RivoLift; “you” means the person or business placing an order or using this site.
2. Using this site
You may browse the catalogue and place orders for delivery within the United States. You agree to give accurate delivery and contact information, to place orders for genuine purchases, and not to misuse the site, attempt to interfere with it, scrape it at volume, or use automated tools to place orders or contact forms.
3. Product information and availability
Product names, specifications, capacities, dimensions, power requirements and package contents are taken from the manufacturer’s documentation for the item. Manufacturers can change specifications and packaging without notice, so if a specific dimension is critical to your installation, confirm it with us before ordering.
Availability is shown on each product page. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we will tell you, and you may choose an alternative or cancel that part of the order without charge.
Photos are supplied by the manufacturers and suppliers of the equipment and show the item as documented. Small differences between the photograph and the delivered machine can occur.
4. Prices and currency
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude sales tax. Prices cover the equipment only. Shipping charges are quoted separately for each order because equipment is heavy and freight costs vary by destination and by unloading requirements.
If a price is listed in error, we will not process the order at that price. We will contact you with the correct price and you may accept it or cancel the order without any charge.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when we confirm it with you and, where applicable, when delivery terms and charges have been agreed. We may decline an order where the item is unavailable, where the delivery address cannot be served, or where we believe the order is fraudulent or abusive.
6. Payment
Online card payment is not activated on this site yet, and no payment can be taken through the website at this time. No card details are collected here. Until payment is activated, we will agree payment arrangements with you directly before an order is despatched. The Payment Methods page records the current position.
7. Delivery
Delivery arrangements, freight charges and delivery windows are confirmed with you before payment. Delivery windows are estimates of timing, not a guarantee of a delivery date. Where a delay occurs, we will tell you and you may accept a revised date or cancel the outstanding part of the order for a full refund of any amount paid for it.
Many items ship by freight and require a forklift, tractor or loading dock to unload at delivery. If your site cannot unload the shipment, tell us before delivery so an alternative can be arranged. Someone authorised to receive the shipment must be available at the delivery address.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. Please inspect the shipment before signing and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork, then contact us straight away.
8. Cancellation and returns
You can cancel an order before it is despatched by contacting us. Return and refund terms for this store are being finalised and will be published on this site before launch. Until they are published, ask us about the return position for the specific machine you are considering before you order. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
9. Warranty
Equipment is supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty that comes with the item. We do not provide a separate warranty of our own, and we do not extend or shorten a manufacturer’s terms. Warranty claims are assessed on the manufacturer’s conditions. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us and we will put it right.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business or installation costs. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Installation, anchoring, electrical work and compliance with local building, fire and safety codes are your responsibility unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Equipment must be installed, operated and maintained following the manufacturer’s instructions.
11. Brands and intellectual property
Manufacturer names, model numbers and trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the equipment we sell. We are an independent reseller and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or an authorised dealer of the manufacturers unless we say so expressly for a particular product.
The content we create for this site, including our text and page layout, belongs to RivoLift.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly: contact@rivolift.com.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example if our payment or delivery arrangements change. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order.
